It seems that the UK governments ICO website https://ico.org.uk is currently offline, with the URL delivering some lovely marketing messages. Clearly someone either forgot to pay the bills or there’s been a mixup at the Domain Exchange somewhere. Quite an embarrassment considering that the Information Commissioners Office is all about Information.
Looking further into this, it appears that the domain name itself expired on the 14th September 2022.
